Magic of Lights at Daytona International Speedway

If you plan to be in Daytona, FL over the holiday season (mid November through the end of December) be sure to stop by the speedway and get tickets for the Magic of Lights display.  Magic of Lights is a very large display of Christmas lights, many of them animated, that occurs at several locations throughout the country and is a popular drive-through experience.  Magic of Lights is produced by a team of family entertainment professionals at FunGuys Events, each with decades of international show experience at the highest level.
The display made its debut at Daytona International Speedway in 2017. As you drive through the the speed way parking lots and under the grandstands you will see spectacular displays, using the latest LED technology and digital animations, all from the comfort of their vehicle. The laid out path includes a drive behind the Ticket and Tours Building, through the state-of-the-art motorsports facility and conclude in the Midway display area –sadly, no time on the track!

Among the new light displays in 2018 was the Reindeer Crossing where Santa’s sled team jumps over guests’ vehicles, the 200-foot Candy Cane Lane and the Snowflake Forest.   Can’t make Daytona?  Check out the Magic of Lights web site for a location that is close to you.  At Daytona a portion of the proceeds benefits the Florida Hospital Foundation with funds designated to support Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center’s Pediatric Unit. In 2018 officials presented an $18,519 check to the Florida Hospital Foundation that was generated from the 2017 Magic of Lights at Daytona International Speedway. Other locations for 2018 Magic of Lights displays were Auto Club Speedway, Fontana California (Los Angeles); Jones Beach State Park, Wantagh New York (NYC); Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds, Berea Ohio (Cleveland); PNC Bank Arts Center, Holmdel, New Jersey; Castrol Raceway, Edmonton Alberta and Wesley Clover Parks, Ottawa Ontario.
